Here's the recipe for a healthy and light snack: Oven-Roasted Chickpea Chips
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cooked chickpeas
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (392°F).
- Drain the cooked chickpeas in a colander and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- Place the chickpeas in a bowl and add olive oil, sea salt, paprika, garlic powder, and cumin. Mix well to ensure the chickpeas are evenly coated with the spices.
- Spread the seasoned chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chickpeas are golden brown and crispy. Shake the baking sheet occasionally to ensure even roasting.
- Once done, remove from the oven and let the chickpeas cool. They will become crunchier as they cool.
- Enjoy your oven-roasted chickpea chips as a healthy snack on their own or sprinkled on top of salads.
