Fun Colorful Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- Whole wheat bread (or any bread of your choice)
- Cream cheese
- Colorful vegetables (carrots, cucumber, red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper, purple cabbage, etc.)
- Sliced turkey or chicken breast
- Olives (for decoration)
- Toothpicks
- Food coloring (optional)
Preparation:
Prepare the Bread Shapes:
- Use cookie cutters to cut whole wheat bread into fun shapes like hearts, stars, and circles that children love.
Prepare the Vegetables:
- Slice the carrots, cucumber, red bell pepper, and other vegetables into thin slices or small sticks.
- Optionally, use different food colorings to dye the vegetables to make them even more colorful.
Assemble the Sandwiches:
- Spread cream cheese on the bread slices.
- Place sliced turkey or chicken breast on top of the cream cheese.
- Add the colorful vegetable slices on top.
Decoration:
- Cover the sandwiches with another slice of bread and use toothpicks to secure olives on top, making them look like faces or other fun shapes.
- Create various expressions or designs using different vegetables and olives.
Serving:
- Arrange the sandwiches on a serving plate in an attractive manner.
- Serve with small bowls of yogurt or hummus dip on the side.
