Oatmeal and Berry Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup almond milk (or any plant-based milk)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup fresh or frozen mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, blackberries)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut butter (or almond butter)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped walnuts or almonds
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Preparation:

  1. Place the oats and chia seeds in a bowl. Add the almond milk and mix well. Let it sit in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  2. In the morning, take the oatmeal mixture out of the refrigerator and add sliced banana on top.

  3. Blend the mixed berries until smooth. Pour the berry puree over the oatmeal mixture.

  4. Top with peanut butter, chopped walnuts or almonds, and cinnamon.

  5. If you prefer a sweeter taste, add honey.

This healthy and filling breakfast will keep you satisfied for hours and provide you with energy throughout the day. Enjoy!
